Default How Hard is it To Remove and Reinstall Chrome Trim?

I want to remove the chrome trim when my car gets sprayed. I'll be looking around for tips on how to do it.

has anyone done this and how does it come off?

Is it possible to remove it and reinstall it?

Yes it is possible, consensus is that you will break most of the holding clips in the process. Why not just put tape over it?

Default You'll need a bunch of new clips

and a lot of finesse to get them off without turning them into chrome pretzels

My 540 is being painted and I'd rather have that trim off when she gets sprayed.

Where do i begin with the removal?

    Thanks,
    Evan
