Default OT: E28 oil sump removal on m30

I tried following Hayne's procedure to remove the oil sump out of my 528i E28, but its all crap. Hayne's reckons it's a one spanner (wrench)difficulty level but it's all crap.Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hey big boy? Dude, everyone saw the pics of the good time you were having last night, I wouldn't go round talking like that too much or you'll get a rep for something you weren't quite bargaining on.. Nick

When I changed the oil pump on my 533i, I recall having to jack the engine up. It's also possible you have to remove the oil pump before the pan will come completely off.
