    Default how cylinders are numbered on V8 (M60) ??

    I have the Bentley manual and I couldn find that info
    how cylinders are numbered on V8 (M60) ??

    I can only guess the number one on the front, driver side.

    Cylinder 1 on the m60 is the right front cylinder
    Cylinder 5 is the left front

    us cars it's 1234 on the right and 5678 on the left starting at the front

    Ok so then when flushing coolant www.bmwe34.net says pull drain under cyl #6... thats obviously for an l6.. wheres block plug on a V8?

    one on each side about at the 3rd cylinder back, right side easyer to get out and is usually a plug, the left side can be a bitch and the bolt is usually sloted so you only need to back it out a few turns
