    Default E34 Touring Roof Bars

    Hi,

I've been searching through the previous posts on roof-rack/roof bar questions.

I have a 1995 E34 touring with the 'roof rack preparation' slots/mounts in the roof - I have some Thule bars from a previous car - is there a definitive answer on whether Thule made or make a foot pack for these slots, or whether a foot pack can be modified and by whom?

If they don't, are there any other manufacturers that make a system to fit these slots?

Many thanks in advance for any info, opinions, leads, threads or just good ideas

    Cheers,

    Sharkfan

Default The definitive answer is YES....

Using a TKI base and 430 tower kit.

call and ask for Marty. He has a 95 touring and can give assistance with this. I gave him my business since he was kind enough to mod the feet for me and explain the setup.

The P/O of my Touring also said Thule would fit.
Check these guys out, very popular in these parts. I see them on everything being used for just about everything.

Definitely give Marty a call. He grinds the sides of the 430 feet down, and trims the mounting bolts so that they fit in the factory mounts. It's a perfect fit for the 525it, I've been very happy with the results.
