You should be fine on 18s...those listed are damned cheap--it will be hard to find cheaper 18" wheels anywhere...just remember that you get what you pay for, and tires are gonna be quite pricey too...
do u think they are cheaply made, i want to get rid of my 15 inchers but where do i start?

make damn sure you get really good tires. the ride wont be terrible at all. you cant beat $495

the place seems legit enuf. i have16 inchers on my e-34 and that is as big as i would go because that is the way the car was designed. the 16's go on the m5 of our vintage. do not mess around with mother nature ,so to speak. btw i have 225 55 16 tires-about 100 each and bbs wheels.very very sharp

e34 m5's come with 17" (tstar) or 18"(m-par) wheels.....
