    Default Shogun Reset vs disconnect ZIF connector from Computer

    What is the difference between doing the Shogun Reset and just disconnecting the ZIF connector from the DME computer? Doesn't disconnecting the computer connector clear the memory from the DME?

    Just curious.

    Yes, it does. Some people are paranoid about disconnecting the DME with the battery connected though...

    i disconnect computers all the time with the battery hot, if i can't reset the computer with my scanner (95 and older you can't) i just unplug it for a few seconds
    all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it
