they're not bad at all. i'd like to see a picture from much further away, it would give a better sense of what it would be like to see it on the road or something.

Not my taste. Neither is the air freshner on the mirror, non BMW Rondell or the front vanity plate. IMO, All these Look out of place on BMWs.

I like understated, Just my opinion.

I was a bit scared by the title of your post but to be honest I think that the inserts look fine. As a stock freak I would take that as a compliment!

The air freshener needs to go, but i like the grill and the alpina badge.

I tried that. Give it a few weeks, you'll think they look like crap BUT to each his own.... like I like the eyebrows on my car now... I'm pretty sure I'll love it when I take it off.

Hmmmm.... I'm not 100% sure if I like them or not... :/

I kinda considered them once for my E34... But it never happend.

I'll side with Russel, I love the understated/Q-car look for the E34 (tho mine does have 18s and stuff)

As for 'vanity plates'... I'd really like the black and white "5 Series" or "BMW 535i" that they put on all the new 5's in the dealership (like this one on the 8er)

    Gone but NEVER forgotten. :'(

    And then...

btw ... im undecided on the grill.... but i think it looks good on yours. It may look dumb on mine.

Some German plates (Munich crest and all) would look pretty cool!!

    Gone but NEVER forgotten. :'(
