    Default Carbon Fiber work

Does anyone here know of a place I could send all of my wood trim pieces to and have them covered in carbon fibre? I want it done well and I want it to match the color of my car.

    Thanks,

    Michael

My car is closer to black than blue...I thought it would look nice with my grey interior. Just a thought.

it's really not that hard to do you just need to get the fabric, resine and time

Personally, I wouldn't. I think it may be too much in side that car. However, you know your car better then I do.

You may be right. It was an idea I had. Black would look better but wouldn't match the car. I'm just not very fond of the wood I have. Doesn't seem to fit the appearence as well as it does with black/tan interiors.

Ever thought of having it done in gloss black like a grand piano? I've seen it before, with the lighter colored interiors it looks quite good. A good body shop could easily prep and paint them, probably wouldn't be much more than $100 or so.

As for the CF, give me a month or so and I may know what I'm doing with it. I'm going to work at the National Institute for Aviation Research in their composites research lab, probably start out doing lay-up.
