    Default Silly question, but...

I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure this out on my own.

What is the part name of the seal that goes around the door frame? It's not the window weatherstrip, this is actually attached to the inside of the door frame. On the interior side, it has fabric on it, on the side that meets the door it's, of course, rubber.

Whatever this is has apparently started to shrink with age on my 5er (all four doors are experiencing this) and I can't stretch it back in place in one corner without the opposite side pulling out. It's making for some truely wicked wind noise on the highway.

Anyone know the part name so I can get this crap replaced?

You can also pop off the plastic base plate and seperate the rubber where it attaches together underneath. Then you have the slack to fit it back up into the corners. You will have a gap at the bottom, but it's partially covered by the door sill plate. Some people have found stuff to match at the local hardware store and spliced in. I had to glue mine in the corners, it wouldn't stay otherwise. I think it's pretty pricey at the dealer.

Their about 60 bux for the front, save the old ones and splice a section in under the bottom panel for the rears unless the rubbers worn.
