Default OT-F1 starts in a couple of hours

and I currently hate my girlfriends brother as he lives 20 minutes drive from Imola. Just to rub it in, he took me to the track in January as I was there. He and his mates go there every year. Grrr, me jealous.

Here in the states we actually have network coverage of the race, which is really rare. Usually they're too busy kissing up to the rednecks by covering NASCRAP 24/7. Going to an F1 race would be amazing, the sound on TV makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I can't imagine what it would be like in person.

in person it is so loud it's not funny!

Montreal circuit is a blast, i used to run it in the wee hours of the morning before they heightened security because of the attached casino.

But the actual race is sooo loud! Earplugs are mandatory!

But this year with V8 engines it is not as high pitched as the V10

45 seconds in and a car is upside down...

Schumacher is back - or is it just that Bridgestone finally got competitive again?

Schumacher won, Alonzo 2nd. Schumacher started from pole; Button started 2nd & got "hosed" in a pit stop.
