With the right socket, it would be easy. With the right socket and an impact wrench, super easy.

Of course this assumes you don't have an airbag wheel now.

It makes things difficult: you have to be extra careful not to set off the airbag. I can't explain how, since I dunno the rundown and never dunnit, but check out the e34 site : http://www.bmwe34.net/. The procedure to remove your wheel is in there if I remember correctly.

There are 2 versions of this wheel, the one in your picture is the early one, you can tell by the spokes going straight across, on the later one the spokes are angled downwards - they also have different mountings
this early one fits the early e34 with no airbag and a 22mm nut holding the wheel on, the later E34s use a 17mm bolt to hold the wheel on and therefore a smaller mounting hole

The cars with airbags, usually require the non airbag wheel from the E36 that as I say is obvious from the fact the spokes turn downwards as in this picture

I would suggest you obtain instructions on to how to safely remove your onw wheel and check what size mounting hole it has

Does the spline pattern on this wheel match your car's steering shaft?
