    Default Change E-Brake cable?

My cable is severly stretched. It was tightened to max at the boot. So I retightened per Benteley at the rear wheels but it still barely holds the car on hills. Has anyone replaced their cable yet?

Doing a set right now, actually. The only real issue is with rust: the end of the cable, where it meets the trailing arm, should press out once the park brake stuff is out of the way. It's quite common for them to fuse in there. Fun times getting them out.

Interesting, what's the time estimate on this job?

It should take less than two hours if not previously done. It all depends on the car cooperating with you.

Is there a procedure for this listed in Bentleys? Currently only have an electronic copy, and it's a pain to navigate.
