Dude that is like comparing a McLaren F1 to a Yugo. I have both. I bought a Haynes a long time ago and it is crap. Everything in it is generic. Go spend the money for the Bentley manual. It is well worth it!

Yes and definitely yes. I got the Haynes "manual" first then bought the Bently one. Bently manual is fantastic and very detailed. The Haynes one isn't and is now doing litter tray duty at the Cats home.Is the Bentley manual better and worth buying?

Bentley isn't really good for M60s, though. In your case shouldn't be a problem.
Thats a real good low milage for an e34 man. I thought no one would beat mine which has 73K now

You're right, the Bentley is light on the M60. But the Haynes doesn't even cover it at all! If you want Haynes just in case for a second opinion, look online, it's everywhere. You'll probably have to actually go and spend hard earned cash on the Bentley though, but it is a good manual.
I have the Haynes so I keep it, together with Bentley´s and you guy´s wide knowledge I think I´ll can get through reasonable reparations.
I bought the car just a couple of weeks ago. It´s been owned by an old man who drove it only now and then. No rust and the service-journal is up to date but there are small but anoying flaws: the heater can´t be turned off, the lever for fresh ait is stuck and the radio doesn´t work. Most problems is concentrated to the center console so I have to take it apart and see what´s lurkin inside.
It´s a nice car, somewhat sluggish but very comfortable.
The cam belt and the cylinder head bolts are also to be changed and I have hope that it will be fine in the end.
Keep the Haynes. I own a Bentleys, Haynes and Chiltons. They all have they're strong suits.
For instance. While the Bentleys doesn't touch engine internals (pistons/rings/rebilds etc), the Chiltons does. While sometimes both Bentleys and Chiltons are weak on illustrations/ photos of body/interior 'stuff', I find the Haynes is stronger.
Of course, 90% of the time I use the Bentleys, and the others just taking up space in the garage.
