OBC Retrofit????

HI All!
I've just phoned a Breakers with regard to obtaining an OBC Unit to retrofit into my E34xM50 (520i 1991) he said he needs to know what OBC I require as there are 4 of them to choose from. so here I sit totaly baffled also with ref. to output plug I tried going to the pdf german site but it is not there!! so can't find any info on how to solder in the PCB of the output plug any advice please . the one i just fitted to mine was a 15 (16 if you count the c/f button) i think out a 1991 onwards model, called OBC IV.

what i would recommend first is remove your clock and see how many wires go into the plug, if only a few it wont be such an easy retrofit, if a bunch of wires it will be a lot easier.

check the above then order code plug from dealer quoting your chassis no.
mine was £26.13+vat, just last month.

it is reasonably easy to solder onto pcb in obc, if a little confined space wise!
