Default need a picture of the 540 engine casting number

I posted the request this morning for the url for the casting numbers to find out whether the engine in the 540 i'm looking at is nikisil or alusil. Well, after about 20 mins I gave up. I got under the car with a flashlight but couldnt see anything because of underbody plating.

So does anyone have a picture or diagram of exactly where this number is located? I know its suppose to be by the 3rd cylinder but where is this exactly.

    Default Hey Mic,

Once you see it you wont believe how you missed it.

If your under the car, put your head right below but in front of the starter, look straight up, as you look straight up you will see the very front of the starter and the engine block, should be pretty clean/aluminum. There are a few sets of numbers, write them all down and compare. Let me know if this works for you.
