    Default 9005/9006 low beam conversion

I just modified the bulbs for my 95 e34 525i so that the usual high beam bulb fits in the low beam socket. Adjusted the beam so it is oncoming traffic friendly and they seem to be much better. Am I looking for any trouble by running these lights on the low beam side? Overheating? too much draw for the set up?

No, you'll be fine. Plenty of people using that setup -- I run them in both of my cars with no problems.

Pretty much the first and most rudimentary mod to be done... without any ill side effects noted!

Great and cheap mod. I did mine with GE Nighthawks and had a dramatic increase in lighting, very worthwhile.
