Wow... no one... that is so strange... I guess I will just go ahead and order it.
I saw the kits are cheap nowdays... like $85 a kit... I know all the wires are there... So who done it the factory way? with factory switch? Any other component needed?

the elements should be sewn in to the bottom of the seat cover so that they remain in place. This is how they come from the factory. The switch is all that is needed.
Where did you find cheap kits new?

I wanted to do something simlar a while back. The response I got was that it is far easeir to find used heated seats. A little later though, I found a really nice guide how to do this with pictures. I can try and see if I can dig it up.
but the wiring harness carries the required plug end for the switch and the the two elements....

I am not concerned about the sewing... they have double sided sticky tape to do that job... all it need is location for its round switch and power wires (which are already there.
I was thinking of using the kit with factory switch... but might as well use the supplied switch. Do you remember how much the factory switch was?
With the kit so cheap... I was thinkiing I might as well try and do it... it can't be that hard...
If you can that would be super! My heated seats just died last week. Its cold here and I miss them - JT
