Default Replace just Rubber Fuel Lines??

I have an M30 and recently changed the fuel filter. The two lines going out each way were both very brittle. I figured it would be a good idea to change these. Then started thinking that all the rubber fuel hoses I'm sure are getting pretty brittle.

I know there are those two hoses and then some under the hood that goes to the fuel rail. Any other rubber I need to know about. Does BMW sell bulk fuel hose or can I source it somewhere else. I know under the hood needs to be rated for FI...anything else to look out for?? After doing my coolant hoses, I'll probably get new clamps as well.

P.S...I live in FL with no salt on the roads for winter and the steel lines looked good...no corrosion.

I think the BMW hoses are 3/8" fuel injection hosing. As you know there is one from the filter to the engine bay to a metal piping leading to the fuel rail and there is a return line back to the tank. Both hoses are, on my car atleast, fuel injection hose. Be SURE to pick up fuel injection hose - Pep boys sold me "fuel hose" which apparently did not like 60 psi of fuel pressure and split the hose. Other than that, you should be fine with any old brand of fuel hose. If you absolutely need BMW hose, my buddy Adolphe at Bimmers Only has a spool I could put you in touch with him, but shipping would be from NJ.

I changed all my E12 fuel hoses for braided. Costs more but really looks the biz. I.D. (interior diameter) and pressure rating as mentioned are all you have to look out for. Change your hose clamps while you're at it.

Where did you get the braided?? Did you take your old lines off and just have them make them to that length??
