    Valve adjust at 120k for the first time... Dealer maintained and they had never done it in the past

    You get alot of those with blown trannies? My uncle has one of those minivans, and apparently got the trans replaced under a honda extended warranty on those things.

    My mom keeps getting letters about a tranny recall on her MDX. Junk, but at least Honda is taking care of it.

    Default I've not the experience as many others....but...

    ... my reaction was for 120K miles that looks really clean inside.
    1993 / 525ia / M50TU / EAT / Sachs / Infiniti Kappa & Basslink / super clean / Style 5s wearing Pilots / Mobil 1 everywhere / long road ahead

    Default Intakes are specced at .008-.009 thousandths some of these were

    at .015. Most of the exhaust valves had tightened up but only a couple of thousandths. It ran noticably better after adjusting the valves. I too thought it looked pretty clean for a engine that had only dino oil its whole life.. But considering it was a 2001 with 120k miles means it had to be a lot of highway miles so that helps.
