My door striker plate is loose, any tips?

My Drivers side door striker plate (U shaped bar on B pillar that door latches onto) is a bit loose. I have tightened up the 2 torx bolts but no matter how tight the plastic cover still has some movement in it that is causing the door to rattle. I thought of switiching it with one of the back door plates, are they all the same? If I remove it are there any thing to bear in mind given that the interior light switch is built into the plastic cover.....?
