Rear Passenger Door Will Not Open.

Hello everyone, I have a 1991 BMW 525i SE and the rear passenger will not open. the central locking only works on the front two doors and the boot which I am happy with and the driver's side rear door has to locked and unlocked manually not a problem.

It is the other rear door that will not open either from inside or outside, the door locking button does not move and the door handles seem to '' floppy'', that is I can't feel any resistance behind them, so I reckon the door card needs to come off but how can I do this with the minimum of damage.

I have looked through the serach options and rear doors seem to be a common problem.

Any help is much appreciated.

I had exactly the same problem so I sold the car and got a new one... really lol
