BMW 318is passenger side door don't lock

Hi, just brought a new 318is E36 99 Treg (uk). When I press the key fob to lock the doors the passenger side door doesn't lock so I have to press down the lock manually. To open, I pull the handle from inside the car to unlock it.

Does anyone know what's wrong with it? loose connection or contacts not meeting?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Could be a defective microswitch, a defective doorlock bracket, a broken wir inside the door from A-pillar to the door frame.
No other choice than to remove the door panel and to have a look inside.
