Default ECU/DME serial numbers - which ones

Apparently I have a fried ecu and am trying to locate another. I have found thousands of second hand units but am confused by the mirriad of numbers on the DME unit.

    I have the following numbers

On the BOSCH sticker in the middle I have the following

    0 261 203 484
    1 744 605 (in large print)

and then under the "made in germany" heading a load of smaller codes

Now there is another sticker with a BMW logo on it that has a chassi number and then
    0FFFFFFFFFFD
    1740172
    1744605
    1427407 (in larger text)

Which are the important numbers to match?

Thanks in advance for the help

I believe the part number of that unit is 1744605, but in the ETK for a 95 530iA Touring, it does not list that unit USA or EURO.

Is you car USA or EURO and what the production date or VIN? Because the ETK does list several different ones based on prod date.

    Here's a link

Guess the 0 261 203 484 is the Bosch number and the BMW number is 12141744605.
