    Default e34 + 16" basketweaves pics pls

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Genui...QQcmdZViewItem

I have a chance at some of these from my local. He pulled them off an e38.
What would they look like on an e34? Does anyone have pics?

    Backstory

Funny story from the guys who sold me my car. They have this really neat little shop arrangement. They're hobbyists who are living their dream. They goto auctions, buy bmws and some other garbage cars (cop cars the kind they roll 22"s with in the ghetto) and resell them at a decent profit to dealerships and individuals. Anyway, my dealer was hanging around someplace, and some guy had just bought an 06 7 series. He got the rims changed immediately and had no room for the 19" wheels + tires in his trunk. My dealer offered him $500 on the spot and the idiot took it. They took those wheels and put them on an green e38 (98 7 series) and holy cow do they look ever so good. I just checked what those rims + tires sell for on ebay and yeah

He wouldn't be an "idiot" for selling them for $500 but people with that much money just don't give a **** about making a profit off their used parts that they no longer plan on using, so if some fool offered him $500 instead of $250, he would probably take either, just the way guy withs more money to blow the most are.

Fair enough. That way of thinking is so foreign to me, I can't understand it.

My father purchased a set of the 16" BBS wheels you are inquiring about for my 525i. He considered it a gift and wouln't reveal what he paid, although I offered to pay. What would be a decent asking price for a set of excellent condition wheels?

Depends if they are the one piece or 3 piece. I know a guy who got the 15 or 16 BBS 3pce for $150 cause the dude thought they were 1pc. Obveously the 3pc. worth way more, coudl sell them now for $750 CDN.
