Default Paul LaDue Heads / Headers

I've read about a fellow in LA who makes hi-perf heads for the M30B34 / M30B35, along with headers as well. Mostly on E28's that upgrade to the B35 head geometry.

Anyone here know of this fellow? Comments on E28 boards are very positive. He sent me a list of what's included in the head rebuild and it looks pretty top-notch.

Thought you had the Bavarian Shysters rebuilt m30 with the 10% performance upgrade? Is there a problem? Does that motor still produce the quick getaway smokescreen?

Dunno about the smokescreen... the tint is too dark! Burns synthetic but not so much of the dino oil, which is interesting.

I'm thinking of a 2-step upgrade to a 3.7: get a core, build the head, put that on to see how different it is, then build the bottom end. Basically what Jeff did... can't help being a copycat. Just hope I don't get the muddy hose treatment.

I've driven in Gale's 735im and it feels about as quick or quicker than mine, especially above 5500 RPM. Same 3.91 but a bone stock / EAT chip motor, now with those cool headers. I thought I'd have him cold, lighter car, 10% more power, smokescreen, etc., but it got me wondering if the BEE head wasn't performing poorly. I saw Paul's ad and some glowing reviews from e28'ers and it got me thinking about a race head, headers and matching intake. $2k for the head and $600 for the headers, I'll have to post the list of all the stuff used. He even offers 3 chips tuned to your car with a dyno session, which would be really cool.
