Luk has made clutches for BMW's and other cars for MANY years. I don't know if it's the same company, or if they have had any quality control problems recently- but if it's the same as the Luk clutch company- I would feel safe in recommending it.

we sell a lot of LUK clutches and have never heard bad thing about them! but as far as i know the LUK clutch company manufacture ONLY clutches, the company i work for (a large motor factor) only stock LUK clutches and nothing else by that brand name, i will check at work on tuesday and update, but i am 99.9% sure they sell clutches only.
