Default OT: Recruiting for bimmer.info, hmmm

Just was curious as to whether others view this as a good idea. I guess when I see this (look at the common post in every thread) makes me wonder what some forum hosters must feel like... then again, as I've found from my short time here, bimmer.info IS the best forum I've come across. S'pose it's good to share the lovin!

I have been watching the number of people registered at the board grow at an unbelievable rate. I think about 6 weeks ago it was about 3,700 and at this moment it is 4,005. When I joined back in the spring there were about 67,000 posts. Now there are 117,500.

Stats at bottom of bimmer.info forums page

Jeff, maybe that explains why new threads only stay on the front page about 8 hours.

Edit: By the way, this is the one year anniversary of when the most users were on line ever. 266 users on 12-30-04. What were you guys doing last year? Online party?

Wow. Three more new members in the last 8 hours. And yes I had insomnia last night. There is really not much happening on this board at 3 AM west coast time.

Glad I'm not the only insomniac around. At around 6am EST the old joke threads start to get a little bit too funny.
