If it cannot be fixed by the dremel or ducktape.. get out the sledge...

I miss my e34
doesn't matter ... I just wanna know if it really looks like what they showed there.
I did my corners and sidemarkers with that. Pics:
Corners on:
I must say though, 6 months later, it has started to fade some even though I clearcoated it, but that's not really a big deal as I can take them out and respray or whatever.
I used Tamiya Smoke Tint on my lady's Focus. No problems yet. As with all paint jobs, go slow and light coats.
Looking at getting some VHT Tint Spray and doing my side markers, tails, and when the clears finally come smoke them a little bit.
sweet ... I wanna do the rear lights ... but I want to make sure that the glossy shine will remain on ... as if its a transperant smoken film on them.
Simple I dont want them to look like they are painted ...

I did the indicator parts on my rears and clearcoated them etc. and after a couple of months they started to fade a bit too but they're subject to harsh sunlight 90% of the year here. Like you said, i'll probably re-do them. It's worth giving it a go i reckon.Originally Posted by Torque
It's worth it by all means. I wanted to tint the turn signal part of the taillights, but I wasn't sure how that would turn out as I already coated them red, and what would happen in case of fading.Originally Posted by Rory535i
