Yum! What about these!
Hmmmm... I wonder if they'll fit...

Thanks for the input and all the advice. I sold the rims & tires for $950 ($300 more than I paid for them). So tell me, what can I get for $950 rims and tires? I would really like to get a set of 17's.Originally Posted by Jon K

Definitely agree but yum! Unfortunately it looks like it protrudes and is prone to curb rash... reminds me of the the wheels on my B5 Passat... horrible rashes/rocks.Originally Posted by jaylebo
I've always been a fan of the 19" wheels. Some may say roller skates, but it can be pulled off nicely.

And that was with lightweight geniune T-Stars.
With heavy 19's I hope you have smooth roads!

For a while on my 525 last year I had a set of 18's, but the ride quality was still pretty good. My suspension was Eibach springs and sways, and Koni's. There were a few other things in there. But it was really sweet, no rubbing or anything. Ride quality didn't feel sacraficed. I think 19's wouldve been sweet. I rode in this dudes '92 525 that had 20's on it once. What a moron. His whole front end was ****ed up in like a month.

I understand what you are saying. What I was looking for was an idea of the style of rims and tires that can be had for around $950. Ultimately, the choice will be mine and mine alone. However, this doesn't preclude input on what type of product I can expect to get for the money I intend to spend. Thanks again.Originally Posted by Mendozart
