    Default Bayer Motor Works--Chandler, AZ

This is by far the best BMW shop in the Phoenix/Tempe area. Its about a 15 minute drive from Tempe. Price is sometimes a bit steep, but they do an absolutely fabulous job on anything you throw their way.

And Beyer Motor Works does an excellent job with reconditioned driveshafts, as well.

True, I took a tour of their DS division, and its pretty awesome. They rebuild BMW driveshafts to have replacable u-joints.

They're expensive, but they do it right. Which is rather important.

Note: I also ended up buying a driveshaft from them for my e34, and it is of amazing quality...price is hard to justify until your CV joint goes bad.

    Thanks.

Guess the price of fixing it will justify itself for what I bought my car for.

95 540i with 75k, only $6k. I thought it was a good deal....I knew the other owner had the pump replaced in the tranny. Ahh, it drove perfect for the first 4 months...Oh well, better now then in the middle of the desert somewhere...
