    Default radiator swap need advice

I cracked the radiator in my 91 525i auto M50 today it broke were the top cooling hose mounts to the radiator I was able to file the little tabs that stick up and push the hose on a clamp to get the car back on the road, but now I need a radiator. I found a radiator from a 91 535i auto M30 the radiator came from bavauto will that radiator fit my 91 525i auto

    Thanks in advance

The car needs an M50 radiator. The expansion tank is mounted on the side, versus on the firewall for the 535.

Buy a new radiator; they're not expensive and, unless you know the history of it, you won't need to hope that it isn't cracked.

    best, whit

I totally agree with Whit. Buy a new radiator. I bought a brand new Nissens for my M20 on eBay for under $200.00.
