This is my first draft. I plan to include a few more pictures involving how to remove the actuator from a 540i. Please let me know what you think, (i.e. what's missing? mistakes? what should I do to make it better? etc.) On the other hand, maybe not so many care about the internals of these devices (they just happened to catch my fancy...)

What other technical information items would be helpful? (I own an E34 so it would be easier to write about items shared with E34's). Ideas always welcome...

work out something with it, but definitely, an inside approach to the Circuit board, with ID on the relays and relating them to different lamps, ID on the power paths also for different lamps including the relays power contacts would be great. I commit to help you out if you find it necessary.
This will help everybody identify what parts to check/re-solder, depending on what lamps are compromised.
