I have to say that I have a Mark D'Silva EAT chip in my 94 525i and it has been an excellent upgrade. Also it cist far less than the budget you have set yourself. Highly recommended. If I bought another chip it would be an EAT chip!

I have tried the Dinan, the Conforti and the EAT back to back in a 95 525iA and the EAT is hands down the best with the Conforti coming in second. The Dinan wasn't very smooth and power was in bands, not smooth like the EAT and Conforti.

Thanks for the help i just did my math and i will spend arround 8k for a 525i 5spd and around 8-9k just for upgrates. So I can't wait, its a good project that will start at the end of summer. Also what is the best should i go for a stock rev. limit, or a rev limit increased. Which one should be the best for everyday driving and like sat or sun mountains.
