Default E32 750 fuel lines replacement DIY info

There have been cases reported of cars catching fire because of broken fuel hoses on the 750.
I just have replaced all fuel lines in the engine room of my project 750 Highline from 1990, also the return lines to the tank and the breather lines, lucky that I did it. Some hoses were hard like stone and broke like glass.
I can only recomend to replace them if they never have been replaced. The new one are of better quality and after so many years they have to be replaced anyway.
When doing this, you can combine it with such jobs as resealing the intakes etc.
Reserve a full weekend for that job. Some hoses are really difficult to replace.

Thanks to leersmd for providing this info
