BMW recommends graphite dust vs oil or water dispersant #40 (WD40) the wd40 is OK if theres water in it cause thats what it does "displace water" but it isnt a lubricant for any practical purpose, mostly marketing. Find yourself some graphite in a can and shoot that in the locks.
