OT: Nissan Altima Tranny
I know this is BMW forum, but a buddy of mine just messed up her tranny. It is a 96 Altima I believe, with Auto shifter. The car doesn't want to go more than 25mph, basically doesn't shift into higher gears (haven't seen it in person, this is what I've been told). My first thought was to change tranny oil, and filter, than see what happens. Or could it be an O2 sensor? Honestly I don't know anything about automatics. So are we looking for a rebuild, or just tranny fluid change. Prices please, or if you know any shops around Western MA area, any input greatly appreciated.

Maybe is lost a gear? I have heard of a nissan losing two gears and having to shift at past redline and then lug it into the next gear.
