Default Drive belt auto tensioner M50

Hey guys, just changing the water pump in my 525 and pried the tensioner cover off per Bentley. I broke a section of the wheel (not the entire wall, just a u-shaped section) that the belt rotates on. If I continue to replace the pump and reassemble everything, will that broken section shred the drive belt?

maybe the pully is available as a seperate unit? I busted a chunk out of the fan pully and education taught me the damn thing was made of plastic, I ran it till the next week and then replaced it. You dont want to be messing up belts and causing a lot ov damage here. After its all together it shouldnt be much of a deal to replace the tensioner pully...just lookin out man.
