    Default Drivers side airbag question

I replaced the plastic on my instrument panel today. When putting the airbag back on I had a very hard time with the T-27 Torx bolts. I got them as tight as I could and everything looks, works, etc.. But I never really pushed on my airbag before and there seems to be a little back and forth play between it and the steering wheel now. Is that normal? I torqued those torx bolts down as good as I could w/o stripping. I just don't want my airbag to be screwed up now.

Mbo -- they should be snug, but not overly tight. It sounds like something didn't get back together completely.

By the way -- do you still have those heated seat switches? Someone was looking for a set earlier this week.

    best, whit

    Whit,
Everything seems to be fitted together. I drove it for awhile and hit the horn several times and it feels normal. Anyways, I still have those heated seat switches if you know someone. I would love to change my seats to heated but we don't get much winter here.
