Hehe, the Japanese are really trying a lot of stuff. Just sitting here with my friend Take after repairing something on his Highline, he showed my some jap. pages unknown to me so far.
    What about this 'tech tip"

    Lots of pics here

Wow, that thing looks awesome. I would so try to make one, but I loathe the 'drill the hood' part.

btw, do you know where one can get those eyes/headlights ?

Someone was selling readymade ones on Ebay a couple yrs ago.....They were indiglo ones I doubt they were that bright. I don't think it'll look that good. I have an indiglo license plate frame in the front that looked really good but it lit for only 2 months. Oh well, it still says BMW.

Japanese characters don't work, but the pics are fine to understand it.

I might chop up one of my spare lights and try to do that with my eyes that I took off. I had them on the outside of the lens under BavAuto light covers, and it looked like ass from close up.

The only problem is it would attract emblem thieves, and 'key' vandals like bees to honey!
On a similar note, we had a near new company vehicle (1,500kms) we had to sell. It was locked in a yard surrounded by a 12 ft high fence with barbed wire at the top.
A prospective buyer rang at 5PM to say they would come at 9AM the following morning.
I arrived at 8.45AM to find all the emblems had been sliced of with a blade and the paintwork damaged. Needless to say the buyer lost interest immediately!
