Default Heated seat problem (driver's side only) '92 525i

Last year the drivers side heated seat worked fine, except the annoying part where is switches from high to low after a few minutes. I know it is suppose to do this, but on a cold day it would be nice to have it stay on high. Anyway, fastforward to this year. I hit the button and it lights up like normal (either high or low), but after 5 seconds the light goe back out and nothing heats up. I try again and again... same thing. The passanger seat is working like it should. Any ideas? Is there a relay for each seat?

I know on my car there are fuses for the heating. I do not know if this is in addition to some sort of relay or timer.
