Green light Indicators?

The first five green lights use to light up on my dash but, now only the last four green lights up. The first green light is not on anymore.

Can someone tell me what this means?

Aren't those just indicators till it's time for you next scheduled maintenance? As fewer and fewer appear, it's get closer. Till they're all gone. Then they'll stay gone till it gets reset.

I noticed this on Friday I changed the oil, sparkplugs, and air filter myself on Saturday. I still only have four green lights. How do reset if that is the case.

must not have an owner's manual, right?...cause the service interval lights are explained...so here's a link that details how they function etc: http://www.bmwworld.com/repairs/maintenance.htm

If you prefer to change your oil at shorter intervals than what your indicator suggests...you can do an "intermediate" oil change. This is where you change the oil/oil filter half way thru the cycle (somewhere around the 3rd green light) and DON"T reset the indicator. This will keep it on the correct cycle for INSPECTION 1 & 2.
