    Default 525ix Touring

Used the search function and read a few posts about this seemingly rare vehicle. Can anyone point to a website devoted to this beast? I just want to sate my curiousity. Maybe it would be fun to import one? TIA for all the help.

It will cost a lot to import ont to the US since they are not 25 years or older.

I thought it might but a poster on the board from Alaska noted he imported one and it was not a big deal. Instead of buying a new work truck with 4wd, seeing 525ix on euro for sale boards for 4-8 thousand dollars is intriguing.

I cannot find the link anymore but there is/was a site out there telling a guys story of importing an E34 540i wagon. I for get the exact costs but I think the process cost about $8000.

There doesn't seem to be a website dedicated for the beast. (The E30 iX does have a website, though. http://home.earthlink.net/~wardellhix/iX/)

What do you want to know? I just bought one imported from Germany - I happen to live in Finland, though... Production total was 4783 for 525iX (sedan and touring combined) so it's a somewhat rare car.
