    Default stupid question about 1 screw.

    Yes, i know...im an idiot.

    So...how do you adjust this screw to go further in or out?

    You don't adjust that one. IIR, there are 3 mounting screws on the headlamp housing. 2 you can adjust and the last one - the one in the picture - is a pivot. The other two should be on an x-y axis.

    how would you be able to move the light as a whole- backwards...into the car...so that its flush against the body and not sticking out past the black plastic surroundings.


    in this picture, you can see the headlight sticking out past the black surrounding exposing the chrome and making the car look bug eyed.

    You can replace the not adjustable one to adjustable one. Then you can move the whole light in or out. Only it will be hard to aim the lights. I have move my low beam into the car more by using 3 adjustable screws.

    any clue how to get those screws out? they are some pretty tuff buggers.

    That looks perfectly normal to me. I think you are trying to recess it unnaturally far inside the grille. Every e34 I've seen has the chrome bezel sticking out there. It doesn't make me think it looks weird, the light is angled nice and straight 'sall. I'm usually one for the aesethics, but this seems to me to be perfectly normal and easy on the eye.. but it's just my 2c worth! Nick.

    Default I think somethings wrong with the lower pic light

    The upper looks correct, the lower looks wrong.
