Default M50 cyl head shipping weight?

Anyone know the approx weight of a '93 M50 (525i- single VANOS) cyl head- complete with all internals?? I need to figure shipping costs for a guy in Canada who seems desperate for one- which probably means he'll end flaking out on me, but that's another story.....

Default 29 kilos for just the bare head and both cams, then you

gotta add all the valves and springs adn timing gears chains and vanos.. If you use the etk you can look up the weights for all the parts individually and add them together. The bare head is 21.94Kg the cams are 3.32 and 3.15kg

Thanks Bill!! I knew about the weights on the ETK, but I never thought they were very accurate. This give me something to go on for a close estimate.

Not to encourage thgis guy to purchase elsewhere, but I'm surprised he can't find one in Canada. I've found M50 heads and bottom ends within Canada without too much trouble and can't imagine shipping from the US would be much $fun$.

If customs grabs it, he may be in for a nice treat.

Anyhow, good luck with the sale,
