    Default 19 inch wheels

I`m thinking about purchasing some 19 inch wheels (BBS) for my 93 M5.
(hear me out!) I have stock M5 suspension with the Nuburing pkg.
The roads are kept up in my area, and I don`t encounter many potholes..
I have some Racing Dynamics 17`s on now, so the 19`s will actually be lighter. I know there is a pretty conservative view on this board about
this subject, but I would like to hear about anyone running this size.
    thanks.

I say go for it, since you have good roads.

Tires cost WAY more and don't last near as long. But hey, it's your car

Show us a picture of what you are considering.

I am in So Cal where the roads are like glass cause we don't get the freezing thawing cycle. My suspension is very stiff so it is hard to differeniate what is the wheels and what is the suspension, but in an ideal world I would prefer a little more cushiness. My set up was selected by the prior owner. I can't imagine what 19s would feel like. Even if the roads are great, there are always driveway lips. That is when I think I wish I had a little more sidewall.

The wheels I`m looking at are the 19 inch LM`s

They are lighter than the RD`s.

I looked on the BBS website, and it says that the sizes for the E34
    are: 19X8.5 front et20 19X10 rear et20

    Sorry, I`m keeping the RD`s
