Default Ok, im stupid - euro ellips

So, I bought some euro ellipsoids that I thought were a good deal. But you know what. I just remembered, I need to rewire my headlights with h1 connections!

Anybody have a clue how I can change my stock 9006's to h1's? I can't find any of the links =x.

If you have 4 female spade connectors and some heat shrink you can change them easy, the factory wires are held buy a clip in the end of the plugs ( 9006 ) on the low beams, just pop off the clip take out the 2 wires and cut them or dont take them apart at all and cut them about 3 inches from the plug ( so you can re attach them later if you want ) and just put on the 2 female spade ( blue spades 16 gauge ) connectors .
    Hope this helps

one of those wires goes to the bulb itself and the other to a spade connector on the housing the bulb clips into

    here you go

I went through this and none of these are a perfect connector because of the design. I spent a while looking through here, maybe something will work for the headlights, didnt get it exact for the elipsoid fogs.

I bought new connectors and the wire leads from the dealer. The leads snap into the connectors and then you splice them into your current wires.

Default I wish it was that easy

when I did the fogs, I had to special order 3 different part numbers and guess what would fit...none were perfect.

if u go to teh dealer they have a generic plug that they use...
i just filed that down some and it fits the h1 slot on the lights perfectly
then the ends i snipped off the 9006 harness on the car and joined the
    wires....

now though all my hard work went to waste since i got hids and the wires
plug right into the ballast =]
