Default Bavarian Autosport High Performance Coils?

Anyone tried Bavarian Autosport High Performance Coils? They are $274.95 (including boots) for our cars.

Supposed to increase torque at lower RPM and hoursepower at higher rpm. Not sure if they are snake oil or not.

I plan on replacing my coils so I just wondered as they cost just a little more than buying Bremis through BMA.

    TIA

Every time I see stuff like this I ask myself "Where is the hard, objective, measured performance data?" In virtually every case, the claims have no basis in fact, and consequently have no facts to back them up. Conclusion? The claim is nothing more than hot air, designed to separate gullible wishful thinkers from their cash.

Default This why I seek advice

Even so, they are new and there may be a bit of improvement.
    Thanks,

From my experience High output coils will not improve a stock engine. Now if there is modifications to your engine ie... High Compression pistons, fuel system ( larger carbs or throttle bodies,) cams , crank or head work) you will see easier starting and some improved performance in the upper RPM range ( hotter spark means more efficient fuel burning) But in order to take advantage you have to have the whole package which also includes a header system that can optimize your new fuel deliver and expel it. if they are cheaper than the OE coils from BMW you could just do it for fun and see.

I would go for the stocker replacements for the simple reason they will most likely last longer than a "special" coil.
