    Just wondering what everyone is paying for gas...

    Default I just filled up for $1.55/gal 89 oct.

    $1.73/gal. 93 octane
    Cincinnati Ohio - Everyone here is about the same for gas prices.
    BTW - I see that not everyone uses premium gas. What is the lowest acceptable octane rating for the M60 motor?I have always used 93 except for when I was in Missouri. There was only 91 available. Can you run 89 octane on a nikasil motor safely?

    i'm tired of reading the reviews and not being able to buy the engine.

    and ofcourse there is that thing about being ripped off by the oil cartels!!

    Filled my 525 up Friday at 1.66/gal for Amoco (BP) Premium. Filled the wife's car up this afternoon for 1.44/gal Raceway regular in sunny downtown Elberton Ga.

    Here in Atlanta, an anti-pollution ordinance was passed requiring that all gasoline sold be under 90ppm sulfur. That's the only reason I don't use BP 30ppm 93 on my Nikasil M60. My gas cap says to use 89 minimum, so that's what I use.

    Run that argument past me again?.
    Knowing that a high sulpher content is detrimental to nikasil.....I know what I would use
