320i mounts are an upgrade yes, the UUC ones are an upgrade from those. the 320i mounts require modification to work.

    Default Cheaper way to go

Buy a handful of turnbuckles and lock down the engine and trans.

Worked great on my Rotary Mazdas....no more broken motor mounts and all the torque and vibration goes right to the frame for that real go kart ride.

Vee ave vays of dealing vid your kind...........

IMO, this is a useful upgrade on higher horsepower cars where there is going to be considerable lateral movement in the drivetrain OR cars that are going to be driven HARD(i.e. track cars).

I wouldnt bother on my E34, not worth it... However, I do have them on my E30.

If not, and unfortunately I think you're not... do you realize what difference track transmission mounts make?

    Quoted from UUC website:

UUC Transmission Mount with TME 320i Mount with TME Stock BMW Mount
    Height 34.3mm 35.9mm 34.3mm
    Stud Size 8mm 10mm 8mm
    Decrease in deflection 300%-450% 354% --

It's completely noticeable. There is some slight slight cabin vibration (think first gear when starting up a hill and letting RPMs dip...) if you can call it that, its just transferring more transmission movement into the chassis, but its not noticeable. G/F hasn't mentioned it yet.

oh no i know they will help quite a lot, its just that
    it was worded funny!

uuc of course does sell some great stuff so 200% might even be accurate
it was just the way they said it heheh made my chuckle a bit

Correct, I had them on my Supercharged M3 and they were a great mod, especially a safeguard against the infamous "money shift" on the M3's. As mentioned, I also have them on my E30 track car because it gets worked pretty hard.

I didnt realize your car was supercharged... details?

As I already have the urethane subframe reinforcementplates, my only real weak link is motor mounts right now. I will probably go with a soft urethane or poly mount.

It's a custom ASA-based setup. I JUST received my 150mm pulley in the mail today from germany! Very pysched.

Sounds hot, Vortech based? I had a modified Dinan setup on my M3 with custom tuning by AA, 6 inch crank pulley/8 rib belt setup from RMS, and water/methanol injection. Car made 322rwhp at 11psi...

Not vortech based, its an ASA blower clutched, as used by Alpina. 320hp @ 11 psi is very low. RMS probably had something to do with that. 8 psi 3.0L's are making 315, 10 psi M3s are now making into the 380's - 400's
