Yeah it does say 6.0i Cobra, and from what I was told, it is a graphic design students Major project for his CADD class. Doubt any BMW affiliation...

I had only seen the side profile before (about 12 months ago) and thought "Wow, muscles!!" Today I saw the front and rear and though "Wow, Fugly!!"

Lets hope Bangle doesn't see it, or he'll probably say "Yeah, thats cool. Lets do that!!"

The arse is too 'arse-like'; it is more of a bulldog, so much so if it wasn't for the BMW badges it could be a Mustang it looks like any moment its about to 'drop a log' on the road behind it!

But it does share some of that 'V2 rocketesque' styling that BMW has been cultivating for some time now... Its a great effort, but is far too current day for a design student. (perhaps the brief was rather... 'mediocre')

If they built it tommorrow it wouldn't sell any better than the current ones are... its just as ugly, there is just more of it. The only thing its missing is intake scoops, GT stripes and it'd be a modern AC Cobra, not a BMW flagship. I think most would go the new Ford GT40 remake if they were into such steroid-induced road-brawn. Then again, the Z series isn't anything like that... for better or worse... I guess the reality is these cars buyers' needs are a little more practical. This is too big for practicality and a smaller verison would (heh) be a current Z3 m car...
